UPDATE from Your Elizabeth Chapel and Trinity Re-Launch Teams

Elizabeth Chapel
Sunday, August 2nd, all are invited to Elizabeth Chapel’s baptismal service at Island Park in Ronceverte at 9:15 AM. Also on August 2nd, all are invited to observe the Annual Conference Worship service on WVUMC.org beginning at 10:00 AM. Elizabeth Chapel will resume worship in the church parking lot on Sunday, August 9th at 9:15 AM.

Trinity
On August 2nd, all are invited to observe the Annual Conference Worship service on WVUMC.org beginning at 10:00 AM.  “Drive-in Church” in the church parking lot at Trinity and parking spaces along the side of the church will begin on Sunday, August 9th at 11 AM, using the FM radio station 90.1. Our Pastor will continue to stream the service as she has been for those who are continuing to shelter at home.
· Guidelines for the drive-in church include:
1. appropriate space between vehicles (keep an empty space between you and the next car)
2. stay in your vehicle (you and your family should remain in the car)
3. very important – bring your Bible (no bulletin will be passed out)
4. bring your offering (two offering boxes will be present so that you can “drop in” your offering as you leave the service)
5. “Pennies for Jesus” (if you have been saving your coin, place it in a zip lock bag or sealed envelope, mark it “Pennies” and drop in the same offering boxes – our local missions continue even though we have not been able to collect our coin for them)

The Re-Launch Teams will continue reviewing WV Dept. of Health’s guidance, the Governor of WV’s phase for gatherings over 25 and the WV Methodist Conference recommended guidelines. At this time the church buildings still remain closed for worship and other activities. As we continue through the next several months the teams will keep you updated on any changes that may occur due to state or conference guidelines and the positive or negative COVID-19 trends. Continue to call your fellow church members, pray for not only our community but world-wide and support our community needs where you can.
