PREPARING FOR WORSHIP

+Call to Worship (based on Psalm 130)

Leader:           Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
People:          O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my

cry for mercy.

Leader:           If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins, who could stand?
People:          But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are

feared.

Leader:           I wait for the Lord, my soul waits.
People:          In his word I put my hope.

Leader:           My soul waits for the Lord
People:          More than watchmen wait for the morning.
ALL:              Put your hope in the Lord!

+Opening Prayer (In Unison):

Holy God of hope, renew your hope within us today.  Remind us of who we are in you, redeemed, cleansed, and precious born-again children of the only true King.  Forgive us our sins and fellowship with us this day, Dear Lord.  May the Holy Spirit fill this place and each of us as we seek to worship you in spirit and in truth as you so richly deserve.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hallelujah!  Spring is almost here! And YOU can help brighten our communities with bright  spring flowers.  You can place a specially crafted flower cup in memory of or honor of someone special, or for the glory of God for only $20 and it will be placed in the church yard at Trinity or at Elizabeth Chapel.  The flower cups will be placed for Easter Sunday and remain out through April 16.  After April 14 you may take your flower cup if you wish or you can leave it to be donated back to the church to be enjoyed next year.  The more flower cups we have, the more colorful it will be.  The whole amount of $20 for each flower cup purchased for Trinity will go to Trinity’s Building Fund to help with loan payments and $20 of each flower cup purchased for Elizabeth Chapel will go to Elizabeth Chapel’s general fund.  Simply fill out and detach the form below marking which church where the flower cup will be placed, who it is in memory of or honor of, who is purchasing it and total amount of the check enclosed.  Then mail or drop it off to the church office at 373 Pocahontas Avenue, Ronceverte WV  24970 by no later than Friday, March 31.  We will have a page on our website that lists all memorials and honorariums, www.GodIsGoodAlltheTime.info and there will also be a complete list in the next issue of the  Ecclesiagram.
