+Call to Worship                                                                 Aaron Ambler

Leader: Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD. Lord, hear my voice!

People: Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications!

Leader: If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand?

People: But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered.

Leader: I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning,

People: more than those who watch for the morning.

Leader: O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem.

ALL: It is he who will redeem Israel from all its iniquities.

+Invocation

God of wonder and glory, we gather before you in worship; we lift our hearts to you in praise.  You are the creator of all, and by your grace you have redeemed us from sin and death. Though we are unworthy of your love, yet you have graciously showered your compassion upon us. Y ou have forgiven us and placed your Spirit within us; surely we can do no less than praise your name. Even as you have touched our lives, O Lord, we know that you wish to enfold many more within your loving embrace.  Use us, Lord, to be messengers of divine grace; allow us, Lord, to be instruments of your kingdom work.   And even as you support our spirits day by day, so help us to be encouragers of others, making your presence seen and felt through our words and actions. We ask all these things in the name of the One who gave himself for us. Amen.
